July 23, 2025 – The National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA) is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025-2026 Future Business Leaders Scholarship. This year, seven exceptional students with ties to the pawn industry were selected to receive a scholarship to help them pursue their higher education goals.

The scholarship is awarded annually to children or grandchildren of NPA members who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.

“Supporting the next generation of leaders is essential to the future of our industry,” said Kristen Williams, NPA Executive Director. “These students are not only excelling in their studies but are also actively engaged in their communities. Their drive and commitment reflect the core values of the pawn industry, and we are proud to support them.”

The winners of the 2025-2026 NPA Future Business Leaders Scholarship are:

• Millie Dunbar
• Carolina Elias
• Brayden McCauley
• Hailey Rives
• Aidan Shrable
• Hannah Wolkowitz

The recipients were chosen by the NPA’s Young Professionals Committee. Selection was based on a combination of academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service, and a personal essay detailing their future aspirations.

“We were so impressed by the caliber of this year’s applicants,” said Randi Butterfield, Chair of the NPA Young Professionals Committee. “Each of these students has a remarkable story and a clear vision for their future. We are confident they will all go on to make significant contributions in their chosen fields.”
