I’ve been in the Pawn Business for 25 years, the first 19 were at one of the big corporations. When I moved into the independent world, I was hesitant to belong and be a part of the NPA. At the urging of one of my partners I went to a meeting in Grapevine and knew instantly I needed to be a part of this association. In addition to Advocacy in Government Relations, which in and of itself is worth more than the membership fee, I have built several strong relationships that have helped me grow my business. The sharing of processes, product knowledge and best practices is beyond anything I expected. As of this summer I am now a Member of the Board and anticipate being so for the foreseeable future.
