Premier Jewellery and Loans presents annual diamond fundraiser for Kelowna Women's Shelter

By Madison Erhardt

Castanet and Premier Jewellery and Loans annual diamond earring fundraiser in support of the Kelowna Women’s Shelter is back for its seventh year.

Built by a goldsmith at Premier Jewellery and Loans, this year’s diamonds are a pair of 1.22 carats custom-made diamond halos with butterfly backs.

“It is an exciting opportunity to support the community. It is an incredibly worthwhile cause. I think especially this time of year when many of us are celebrating, we have to remember that not everyone is experiencing that same level of peace and this gives a chance to pay it forward,” said Premier Jewellery and Loans owner Martin Strasser.

To date, a total of $37,900 has been raised for the Women’s Shelter through the annual fundraiser.
