Pawnbroker Membership
This category encompasses persons, partnerships corporations, or entity exercising common control participating in the operation of a pawn establishment that owns, controls or operates one pawn establishment.
Membership Dues:
One Store $600.00
Multiple Store $550.00/per store

International Pawnbroker Membership
This category encompasses persons, partnerships corporations, or entity exercising common control participating in the operation of a pawn establishment that owns, controls or operates pawn establishment outside the United States.
International Membership Dues:
One Store: $300.00
Multiple Stores: $250.00 per store

Apprentice / Student Membership
Student membership is limited to individuals studying or learning to operate a pawn establishment. The membership is valid for one year. Upon demonstration that a valid pawnbroker license has been obtained, the student member may become a Regular Pawnbroker Member.
Membership Dues: $600.00 per calendar year

Industry Partner
Industry Partners are businesses, companies, individuals, or any entity supplying the goods or services to the pawn industry.

NPA Membership Eligibility Requirements:
- Agrees to abide by the NPA Code of Ethics and NPA Best Practices.
- Make non-recourse, collateral-based loans and take actual possession of tangible items of personal property which remain on site until they are redeemed or defaulted by the owner. Businesses must conduct this type of transaction to qualify for membership. Holding a title to an auto, ATV, boat, land, etc. does not constitute “taking possession of tangible personal property.
- Conduct business from a brick and mortar location (cyberspace or internet lending operations do not qualify for NPA membership).
- Members who own more than one pawn store must pay dues for all stores at the additional store price.
- Provide a copy of their pawn license, business license or sales tax license with the membership application and fax to (817) 337-8875 or mail to NPA office.
